Fast and friendly service! I woke up to find a bolt in my tire. I called several local places that quoted me over an hour wait, but Tri Cities Auto got me in and out in under 30 minutes and for a very reasonable fee too! Thank you!
They were thorough and on time but... Quoted me at 7,000 for a new transmission. Found another shop and just as thorough. Got a new transmission for 3456$. Still not sure why? Will never bring my car to them again. Obviously. Way overpriced
Thanks for the five stars. We hope we made your visit as pleasent as possible.
My son and I had a problem after they serviced my vehicle on the way to Ohio which left us stranded but Jim the owner jumped right into action to help us out we made it to Ohio and will I was gone he took care of my vehicle and payed for everything what a outstanding owner thank you jim for all you did.
TriCity does good work. They are very deliberate about informing the customer about anticipated costs and careful not to overrun that cost. Typically they may not entertain auxiliary work that *could* be done in order to deliver on-time & on-budget, and they certainly will not up-sell. In general, I really appreciate this direct-communication approach to their business, but from time to time--esp with a car that is used but new-to-me--I would appreciate a few recommendations or a heads-up about potential for future work needed or potential issues found every now and then; basically a conversation with a mechanic. I'm still testing out the magic-words to walk that line.
My wife, grandson, and I had the truck loaded up and ready to return home from a vacation in Spring Lake/Grand Rapids area when a tire warning message came on my dash. Unfortunately I had 11 pounds of air pressure in one of my tires due to a faulty valve stem. I got on line and found that Tri City was only a couple of miles down the road. I was able to drive there on the almost flat tire and spoke to Carl at the front desk. I explained I was out of town, trying to get back home in Indiana. Carl was very personable, wanted to get me back on the road and juggled the work schedule around to do so. The tire was taken off the vehicle, valve stem replaced, and I was back on the road in less than an hour!!! Awesome service from a shop that would not get repeat service since I am 5 hours away in Indiana. Nor did they try to gouge me on price even thought they knew i was a One-Timer. Since they were so nice to an out of towner, I can only imagine how well they treat their local and regular Customers. Great service at a great price. Highly recommend Tri City for all your auto repair needs. Thank you, Carl and the Tri City group!!
Glad we could help and we hope you had a great vacation.
Always a good experience. And exceptional work on your car!
Had a mouse get in the heater-A/C unit of my 31 year old Buick Reatta. Built a nest and chewed up a bunch of wires. Try City technician found the nest, cleaned things out and repaired the wires. Did a great job and it's back to normal. They were extremely good at keeping me informed of they're diagnoses and progress on the repairs. Would highly recommend them.
Thank you for letting us help you.
Excellent work. Preformed routine service as well as repairing the A/C and cruise control on my 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty..
Great service!!! Got me in and out in less than 24 hours for an emergency repair!!! Highly recommend!
Great service and was able to get me right in!
